Finishing off our study of faith from Hebrews 11, we planned a meal together with some of the tastiest foods that you can find in Mexico, and some of the best company around.

Including all

On Saturday while playing some youth games, a group of elementary age kids came by wanting to participate in our games.  We included them and had a wonderful time.  Now we're wondering how to include them in our youth group...  Thanks for your prayers

End of the semester

Keila returned to Mexico with group of her friends and enjoyed good Mexican company, food and sights.

3 Years old

Our sister church in Tizayuca celebrated their third anniversary with a new site to worship and lots of  great food.  Congrats all!

Teacher training

Our teachers and preachers continue to have opportunities to share God’s word.  Julieta who is an upcoming teacher in the congregation has shown herself quite capable in teaching children as well.  Her medical background gave her creativity in presenting an object lesson.

No space!

We had a wonderful surprise on Sunday morning when we ran out of chairs to seat our guests.  Fortunately our congregation has learned to give up their places to make others more comfortable.  Please pray with us for more space and more chairs.

New CHALLENGES

We studied about protecting our hearts “minds” from Proverbs with the youth.  

They were motivated to create some posters encouraging the congregation 

to watch what goes into our heads.

An old GAME with new youth

“Steal the bacon” they used to call it.  The youth thoroughly enjoyed the running and “stealing.”

Crafty IDEAS

The kids’ leader is a crafty person.  

That is, she loves putting together interesting and fun projects.  

The kids always look forward to Adi’s new activities.

TEACH

One of the girls in our youth group consented to teach the kids’ club.  She was interesting and animated.  We are glad that the young people are gaining skills in different areas of church work.

Priority for NOW

The youth have been instrumental in helping our kids’ club activities.  From excitement to hanging with the kids, our youth have been busy and amazing.  Great job!

On Faith

I got a chance to speak on Hebrews 11 during the morning worship service and then a different study for staff meeting.  I’m learning about our faith and those who have gone before us.

The youth took some odd photos for a bookmark that they plan on making for the moms.  You all look great!

Mother’s Day

We celebrated an early Mother’s Day with a cake for the congregation and presents made by the children.  Thanks moms for your hard work throughout the year.

Cup Cake

In order to raise money for her trip to Uganda to serve in medical missions, Kiana included the congregation in Mexico by asking them to support her with the purchase of some cupcakes of different flavors.  She spent an entire morning baking.  Great job, Kiana!

A Great Start

Our kids club got off to a good start beginning on Saturday.  There was a great crew of helpers and kids to help.

Bass moments

Jaime, one of our youth, is excited about his renewed faith and wants to serve in all areas of the church.  Recently he expressed an interest in playing an instrument.  So he’s begun bass classes with us.

Much appreciated prayer

Zule has had a recent setback with an unexpected fever.  She’s been hospitalized and needs our prayers.  As you might remember she was diagnosed with cancer in her thyroid.  Please help us pray for her healing.

NEW home group studies

We’ve begun new weekly studies on Hebrews 11, talking about faith and the Bible characters that exemplify it.  Our first study was well received and thought provoking.

Getting the word out

Kiana will soon be heading out to Africa.  She could use our support in prayer and encouragement.  Please join us in praying for her.

NEW evening studies

We’ve begun a new Sunday evening study on Revelation taught by a missionary friend, Mike Palumbo.  We had a great turn out for our first meeting and look forward to learning more together.

Clowning Around...

“What can I do?” was the question asked me by one of the men I’m discipling.  He’s a good friend and has a knack for clowning.  And he entertained the kids last week after our program with laughs and balloons.
