Tracey along with Maria visually showed the congregation how
many new families are attending since starting our project “1 Más” in January. We were surprised!

Growing People
It was exciting to see our church facility filled with
almost no chairs left to offer visitors.
It was also great to see new people leading the service.

“Renovado” Discipleship & Evangelism
A group from our church attended a Billy Graham conference
in downtown Mexico City. They came back
excited about a global plan to reach out to touch one life for Christ, kind of
like our plan “1 Más” where we hope to reach one more family for Jesus.

Big Birthday
One of our men broke the 50’s sound barrier and we celebrated
his life from morning until dusk with food, good friendships, laughs and gifts. Congrats
Luis!

Walk the Talk
Our Tuesday night prayer leader had us all hit the streets
to pray for our community and pray that some places teaching magic would close. It was a nice walk, and informing yet still to
find several of these places in our community.

Playing Together
We could hear the laughs coming from our group as some swam,
others looked on, while still others staked out a spot under a tree and took a
nap (ME). It was a wonderful day in
nature. Another picnic anyone?

Touch of Prayer
Building ties with the founding church, a group from our
congregation went up the hill to attend a series of talks on intercessory
prayer. They all were surprised by all
the good information, friendships and food.

Just Right
The day, of our church picnic, seemed to go off without a hitch
until one of the ladies slid to a base and hit her noggin playing kickball with
the adults. While she was sidelined, the
rest of the group played, ate and swam their hearts out. Glad that there was plenty of food and
excitement.

New Worship
We’re beefing up your worship team with more musicians and
song leaders. Josué is our latest
addition and he did a great job on Sunday.
We’ve got a bass player in the wings, named Jaime. Pray for him as he practices hard. (The picture is of
Kiana’s worship team at worship camp last week)

Happy “Early” Father’s Day
My daughters put together some great gifts for a “pre“
Father’s Day. Both have left for either a mission trip or for a college campus job, but I thoroughly enjoyed their gifts – and hope to
see them soon. The gifts? Healthy sweets! (This is a card that Kiana made)

Picnic Plans
We’re heading out to the local park and inviting the
congregation and the new people who have come to a time of games, food and
swimming. Pray with us that the weather
cooperates.

Leaders looking for a Leader
At our leaders’ meeting we talked about reviewing our
finances to be able to pay for a pastor.
We’re not there yet, but trust that God will soon give us what we need
to pay for a full-time leader.

Down
No posts last week as I was dealing with some headaches due
to the contamination and weather change, as well as a bad ankle. Thanks for praying for us.

Team Calvin
Upon Keila’s return to Mexico, she brought down some friends
to tour the area. They spent a week in
Mexico and then returned to their “international” homes.

Last Kids’ Club for the month
Now’s the time to evaluate our “pilot” project of the
children’s club. We wanted to try it out
for a month to see if there would be support and new families contacted. Both goals were met.

Teeth
Our Saturday kids’ club started off with a dentist friend
checking their teeth and even extracting teeth on site. It was both a service to the community and a highlight of the day.

Supplementing Revelation
Half way through our study of Revelation, we added some time
for a movie on some of the first events of the tribulation. We had lots of youth show up for the
activity.
