GREAT Plans

With Pastor Francisco beginning to pastor the congregation, 1 More 4 Christ, we’ve directed our attention to a new location to begin a new work.  This location happens to be where we have one of our home groups meeting.  We will begin visiting the area as well as organizing activities for the community to get to know us.  1 More 4 Christ will add One More.

On the GREEN

While you can find grass in most parts of our community, you don’t always find large patches of untouched plots.  So our youth took advantage of this plot and participated in some games on it.  It was fun to see them slumber on the green.

A TIME of FASTING

Time was spent Tuesday praying for the needs of the congregation, the community and personal commitment.  The group began at 10 and ended at 7 p.m. just before our weekly prayer meeting.  We’re so glad for their commitment and their intercession.

A NEW Preacher in the HOUSE

Pastor Francisco F. Ventura C. started working with us mid-September and has taken on a greater role in preaching.  He’s getting to know the members of the congregation and fitting in well, along with his family.  Please pray for this leadership transition as he begins pastoring.

All in line

Our youth continue to amaze me with their commitment and desire to be mature believers.  We had a good size group this Saturday with lots of interaction and fun.

Meet and Greet

As of September 12 our congregation welcomed the new pastor, Francisco and his family.  His son played at a social that we had to celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day.  Here he is singing to his son’s guitar play.  Welcome Francisco.

Last chance

Our outing for baptisms is still being remembered by the members of the congregation.  And for me it was bitter sweet knowing that this was probably the last time I’d be baptizing here, opening the door to the new pastor to do so.  Good times!
